ReadyNation International organized the first Forum of its kind on 27-28 October, 2016 near Zurich, Switzerland.

For two days in October 2016, ReadyNation hosted an intensive working meeting of select delegations from a variety of countries to support early childhood investments.

The first European Business Leader Forum on Early Childhood was held at Marbach Castle located in Marbach, Germany on October 27 and 28. Organized by ReadyNation, the event was co-hosted by Jacobs Foundation, Aga Khan Foundation, Bernard van Leer Foundation, King Baudouin Foundation, and Compagnia di San Paolo.

Conducted in English, the European Business Leader Forum on Early Childhood was an intensive working meeting of select delegations from a variety of countries, including Switzerland, Belgium, Portugal, Netherlands, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Romania.

The event was by invitation for only a limited number of attendees. However, this forum will not be a one-time affair. Rather, it laid the foundation for business leaders in support of early childhood investments that will help all the world’s children get a good start in life and become productive citizens and employees.

Invited participants discussed the case for business actions and examples of business leadership, and then developed plans to convince and support business actions to take action. Participants primarily represented business groups, companies, funders, and NGOs.
